Senait Asmellash, Ph.D.; Co-Director, CCC Proteomics, Research Instructor, Biochemistry & Urology Senait develops and applies high throughput acquisition strategies for peptides and proteins from biological fluids, using both MALDI-ToF and LC-ESI approaches. Anton Paliakov, Ph.D./M.D.; Research Instructor, Surgery/ Urology Anton carries out proteomic analysis of exosomes/ prostasomes as they pertain to prostate and breast cancer initiation and progression. Bradley Troxler, M.D.; Pediatric Fellow, P.I Dr. Eric Sorscher Brad is working on the detection of novel marker of Cystic Fibrosis, with a focus on proteomic changes to the saliva. Methodologies include a global shotgun based LCMS analysis in addition to MALDI-Tof based profiling followed by Top-Down directed Identifications. Archer Smith, Ph.D.; Postdoctoral Fellow, P.I. Dr. Renfrow P.I. Archer (on the left) works in our lab through a collaboration with Matt Renfrow, coming in with expertise in both nano-separations and FTICR mass spectrometry. His focus is on high end analytical biochemistry strategies as they are applied to biopolymers, with an emphasis on quantitative posttranslational modifications and multidimensional separations.

Angela Betancourt, DVM, Ph.D.; Postdoc, P.I. Dr. Lamartiniere Angela is carrying biomarker discovery experiments driven by a combination of 2D PAGE and 2D MALDI analysis of tissues and serum from breast cancer specimens exposed to environmental estrogens.

Alan A. Mobley, P.S. Explorers; Alan comes in part time, mostly on weekends with work revolving around the analysis of various video graphics output files including that of Shrek, Spiderman, and Peter Pan.
John David Farris: Prostate Center Coordinator John is a crucial part of patient specimen acquisition consenting.
